Unknown personmessaging me please give me information

Caller called me claiming he was from EDD. He gave me such a fake name and then was asking for information and about me having an interview. I proceeded to hang up because I know that EDD never calls you from your area code. After I blocked the number he left me two voicemails about my interview and needing basic information

rcvd call from number and no body said anything

had 2 rings in a row, we did not answer. No msgs were left.
