Called and left no message

I just got a phone call from an unknown number asking me to call that number about being served for a bad check and they need my address. Talked to my boss and he said it is most likely a scam.

these Number are all SPOOFED/ It Means it's not a real Number people or marketers are Using Spoof calling to Hide their Real Numbers to call People and Sell Products or To Scam people, do NOT Answer these Numbers if you Don't Recognize it!

I looked up the number to find out the name of the company.    I do    not know why they called me when this company is DBA verizon.    I do not appreciate using my minutes for these calls when I do not have this service.    There was no message left either.    This maddening.    Just called for a prank. It is not right.Thank you Mamie Hall

The rep said that they were promoting a security system for General Electric.
