Call came in and I let it go to my answering machine to screen the caller but noone answered, no message left, just goes to a fast busy signal then hangs up. Upon calling number back I get a recording as follows: "You have dialed a vacant Sacramento County Government phone number, please check the #..."

This no. rang our house at 2:20 a. m. Can you imagine exactly what went on in our head at that time of the afternoon. 1st thought, who DIED. . . . subsequently who was hurt. . . subsequently we rang the no. back, this went to a canned recorded message about no one available to take the call, pass on a msg at the tone. subsequently We are angry. . . angry to believe that somebody would ring that time of the afternoon, wake somebody up, pass on no msg & subsequently not even reply the telephone soon as a ring was returned. exactly what THE HELL.
