spam repeated calls

I have been receiving prank calls from this number regularly and do not give my number out, so I am guessing that others are also being pranked by the same number.  The first time they called, they spoke in a muffled voice and thereafter, they would not speak -so, after the second call, i stopped answering.  They still regularly call and will be put on my 'blocked' list soon -but i am curious to see if anyone else has had similar issues.

Recently I missed a call from this #. I didn't call back. Caller Id said Unavailable.

we got the identical ring. Automated. This needs to cease & desist, somebody will find themselves in a scam and harassment suit. Spring, Tx.

This no. has rang our work two times & put the phone down on our voicemail. we searched for this & nothing comes up. this was a DC region code.

He hung up and refused to answer who he was.

This is a company called Installs who contracts with different companies and works with stores (Hhgregg, Best Buy) to get licensed skilled workers (in my case, a plumber) out to install appliances (gas ranges or gas dryers) and home entertainment systems.
