Nasty bill collectors from BOA calling everyone they can get ahold of (family, friends, etc.) trying to say they needed information on my job and address to send a summons for a court case involving 'Several complaints' and even made up a bogus court docket number. Called the court where it was supposedly filed and they had no record of it and the number the collectors gave me was completely wrong - as in, it had too many numbers!

Just received a call from someone telling me they could lower my interest rate on my credit card. I asked what card(s) he was referring to. He listed some off (BofA, Chase, AMEX). When I said I don't have those particular credit cards, he hung up on me. The call appeared on my caller id as 816-718-7516. Looks like someone I might know but it ended up being someone in a call center from out of country and with a very hard accent.
