Received text saying they "need my name and last name". Obviously, anyone with legitimate reasons to text me would know my name! Not sure what their ploy is but definitely a SCAM!

Any idea who this number is? It keeps ringing my mobile but I dont know the number and when I ask who it is they put the phone down

I received a call from this stupid Puerto Rican speaking male stating that my brother had been in a fatal accident. He claimed that he had my brother hostile while beating him. He asked for 1500 and wanted me to dropped it off at the nearest publix otherwise he would kill my brother. I told him that i was going to call my sister that she is a police officer and he said that if i called he will kill my family and burn my house. At first i was scared because my brother had text me earlier saying that he had an accident at work. I was trying to locate my brother but he wasnt picking up the phone and he would only text me back saying that he was okay but he was in hospital that he wasnt familiar with in bro-ward. Finally my brother called me back and said he was okay and not to bother with this scam. People be real careful we have alot of these scam.

Yes they just called me as well,is this a way someone may steal my identity off my phone!

not sure who keeps on phoning with this no.

Exact same experience as the three previous entries from 'got scammed', 'Cat Lady', and 'Sarah'.

Just do not no who is no. this was a we hav recived numerous rings with it!
