Calls asking for me by my first name. Caller (Peggy) says she is with a safety supply company, speaks to me with familiarity, implying that we are aquainted, apologizes about not being available to meet with me recently, but saying she will be in town soon and wants to get together. I am the purchasing manager for the construction company I work for so it would not be unheard of for me to be aquainted with someone working for a supplier, but I have no idea who she is. If I have spoken with her before it was only to tell her we are not interested and to hang up. She may have called previously asking for the "person in charge of ordering safety supplies" and been given my name. We use local companies for supplies; this company is out of our area. Seems to be just another solicitor.

Reported as Unsafe and Scam Risk. Robocaller ignoring do not call registration. Fail to leave voicemail. No Caller ID. Report to FTC and block number.

This number called, asked for a relative that lives in a state 1500 miles away; wouldnt give any info except its an ARM. Very sly & obviously bogus. Don't 'Do Not Call" lists work....

Spam, do not pick up

My mother got scammed out of $6000 to get her grandson out of Canadian jail for a drug related charge. They then tried to get another $2500 for the lawyer. She did not have it and called me. I called this guy up and the amount had gone up to $5000. I told him I needed time to arrange the money. Then I called my son and found him at home in bed and no where near Canada.He used the name Sgt. Streizand of the Bucktown Ontario Police Dept.
