This number tried the "Your computer IP is giving us reports of malware - please goto our website and we will connect to your computer and show you the harmful files" Scammers.

The call was from a verizon wireless user.

Thanks, we need PERA for retirement, however not to ring us in the middle of the workday for a BS survey & subsequently to pass on a blank msg

Claimed to be Time magazine looking for a payment for a December renewal that arrived without payment. Good try, but got indignant when I suggested that they use that mail. Hung up when I told him that I never, never do anything financial on an incoming call - especially one that Caller ID shows as Private Caller.
