We need: 1) recent legislation to make it illegal for computers to call people 2) accountability for a phone number to a real person by any provider of phone services 3) a way to report calls to the authorities as simple as making an entry on whocallsme.com 4) stiff fines under (1) above to go directly and immediately to (2) above

I had a call and did not answer it.    I played the voice mail immediately after it was left.    The caller hung up.    They called back 2 minutes later, hung up with no voicemail left.    Oh, by the way, this was at 1:29 and 1:31 a.m.    I was sound asleep until the calls came in.
