i RECEIVED TX100T MESSAGE STATING THAT I WON $100 toward next verizon bill IS THIS A SCAM?

Hello how are doing today. And you're in there alone.

ended up leaving msg stating last courtesy ring to reduce cc rates. seemed just like a recorded ring since these people talked just like We are there & waited for a reply by voice or keypad

Same thing, calls about once every two weeks. No voice or sounds, simply hangs up immediately.    Assumed it was someone I know since I live in the 281 area, but I can't find anyone in my contacts with this number.
