Sent call straight to voicemail since I didn't recognize the number. Message was from representative of Skylink, a DirecTV installer/subcontractor, confirming service appointment. Legit.

Text Message received that reads: "It's Free to Save! If you would like to receive up to 15 Percent discount off your Gas & Electric bills? Reply "LOWER" Reply "STOP" to opt out" No sign that this is associated with BGE, so no apparent reason to trust.

I would like to know for who is this number

had a ring with this no. (408) 418-5604 & did not reply 02/27/2012. I often look up the no.s here & other sources when we do not recognise the person calling.
