At 321-740-9, you will find a list of other numbers being used -- and this is not an exhaustive list! The recordings were made, as the stories have been told at many complaint sites, in 2006 by a bank in California. In 2007, they sold the machine to Pacific Telecommunictions. PacTel rents use of the recordings to third parties, to which it also provides telephone lines and numbers. PacTel claims that it has no control over what those third parties do. Remember, if someone was not making money from this, this scam would have ended long ago.
