They called at 8:39am, not 6am. :) (It it 3 hours later here in FL than the time that shows up for my comment posts.)

I received a message from 'RCS' today, they didn't identify themselves as a debt collector but told me they had my file on their desk and it was my last chance to call them by 4pm today before they verify employment. First of all, they have never called me before, secondly I haven't received anything from anyone saying I am behind on any bills. I called the number back from a different line and blocked my caller id and that's how I found out the actual company name, Reliant Capital Solutions. I then did a search to find out who they really are. I see there are a lot of complaints about them. I have contacted them by email telling them that I expect a response from them telling me why they are contacting me or I will be reporting them to the B. I also saw a post stating that you can notify them in writing that you are going to charge them money for talking to you as you do not have to deal with a third party regarding any debt. Not sure if this is true but think I may try it!
