Definitely a scam.claiming they were the irs

I get aproximately 2-3 calls a day - middle of the night, morning, and afternoon. when the phone rings at 2 am your heart starts pounding for fear someone has passed away... I've done the call back and pressed "1" for not interested and message said it would take up to 72 hours to remove but thats been over 2 months ago. I still call, press 1, and pray.
