caller id: unknown name purportedly a call from GE Security Systems, a live male person with a New Jersey or New York accent, offering a free security system if I allow a yard sign to advertise GE in my yard. I asked him where his company is headquartered; he didn't know and asked me to hold while he checked on this. the phone went dead and he obviously disconnected. yet another phone scam!

Received a phone call. These people found my phone number on a craigslist ad and were calling about the listed item. They seem to be a service that is willing to help you sell your stuff. My call was disconnected before i could figure out whether it was a scam or not.

vm is ended up leaving by a guy, this is almost impossible to hear him. The background is noisey, & nearly seemed just like this is a mobile telephone with a bad connection. caller's name is Jake, did not say exactly what firm, or exactly what this is about.
