Millions Call

this is a recording claiming to be the IRS asking you to leave your SSN or EIN and phone number for them to call you back! Beware this is clearly a scam. They sent a notice in my mailbox requesting me to call that number

I got a 2 calls and a text from this number also. I called the Citi's phone number found online...I must say the girl helping me was no help. I told her the text said Citi wanted to verify recent transactions. So that's what she did...all was good with the pending/posted transactions. I then asked her about the text message and phone calls. She said there are many numbers I could have got a call from, but could not verify if Citi did in fact call me. She cut me off many times while I was attempting to ask questions. I do a similar job ...I would never ever not allow a customer to finish their question, I see it as part of my job to educate the person calling...to explain how things work...why things are done the way they are. Not to say..."my boss will listen to this call to see if you have a valid concern" ha...wow...gee thanks!

Don't know how he got my number but I only got a text from this guy.    He said his name is Dean and he was looking for his sister??? How do you not know your own sister number?? He can't spell well at all and I assume he can't speak it either.

this is also happening to me, from 612 326 5406. they call but don't say anything and hang up within a few seconds, wonder what it is..?
