I received a phone call. Would not tell me his name, said we meet at the 5 star club, then said a family member of mine gave him my number but could not tell me my name. Then he hung up on me.

Just talked to James, 5/18/2011, 12:45 PST. He did say his name was James but also specified that he is not an attorney but a bill collector. He requested the last 4 of my SSN before he would even reveal the name of the company he was supposedly trying to collect for. Did not give it to him and he said he could not tell me anything else without that info. Seems weird...

Almost on a monthly basis for the last 12 months my husband and I receive text message solicitations stating: '*CELL 786-389-6345 WE BUY JUNK CARS $450-500 COMPRO CARROS $450-50*.' There is also another phone number attached to this message: *1-863-254-9779* I have tried to call both numbers and I have also text both numbers requesting that they stop sending these messages to my cell phone but to no avail they are always ignored.

Says they are from Medicare

Got a call from a women claiming I had been entered into 'dream of a lifetime' sweepstakes, when she asked for my info I promptly told her no and that I wanted to be removed from their mailing list. Did an Internet search to find its a scam!

Claiming they were social security administration.
