Received a 'Final Notice' letter with a check for the amount of $4,998.00 on 11/19/08, stating that I should call 778-896-8677 because I am a grand prize winner in the American family publishing sweepstakes drawing. It stated that I should use the check to pay Government Service Taxes for non Canadian residents on the winning amount of $250,000.00. I know that this is a scam for the address on the check is an address for a company by the name of 'Location Sound Corp' out of North Hollywood CA. This company deals in audio sound equipment and communication systems.

I got an email with a job advertisement. I am supposed to return the call for a job and haven't replied . I don't know what these people do with resume information or telephone information when they call. The email message follows: Sean Williams [email protected] 5:54 PM (2 hours ago) to me Hello Robin, My name is Sean Williams, HR Manager of VPN, LLC. I am writing to inform you that your resume has been redirected to me and I have reviewed your profile. We have an open position available, based on your experience, you are qualified for. If you are interested and would like to learn more, please give me a call or simply reply to this email. I look forward to speaking with you shortly. Thank you for your time and interest.
