Millions Call

I got a phone call from this particular number earlier on this morning and figured to report it all right here

we had a ring with them, & soon as we picked up, no one stated anything. There is a long silence. we eventually put the phone down.

This is Officer William Parker calling you from the Department of Social Security Administration the reason you have received this phone call from our department is to inform you that there is a legal enforcement tax and filed on your social security number for criminal activities so when you get this message kindly revert as soon as possible on our number that is 210-666-9592 I repeat 210-666-9592 before we begin with the legal proceedings Thank you.

I do not identify this number.

They said they were from an "Energy Consortium", calling about our utility bill. Caller ID says National Energy. They aren't our provider and apparently ignore the Do Not Call list.

Just a stray number?

Just received a text message from this number asking about how to cook a chicken. I have no idea who this person is.

Says they are US grant dept.

Stolen number used by Indian call center to steal credit cards.
