A scam trying to get my personal information by telling me about my good credit card payment habits

just got a call from nora davis explaining that she was impressed with my resume and accomplishments...who says that these days?...and she asked me to confirm my salary requirements of $xx.xx to $xx.xx. My appt is tomorrow at 1pm @ 14275 Pipeline, Chino. I'll call and cancel since I have seen these posts. Thanks.

I received a call at 8:39AM from (281) 606-4130 with Caller ID displaying (TEXAS) when I answered the man did not identify himself only said that he was with Security Specialist and offering a free security system provided that I would allow them to place a sign in my yard. When I asked him at what cost to me; he got quiet then responded you will get information about the system. I told him that I was not interested and asked that he remove my name and number from his call list.

I got the call too, but I don't think it's a scam. Bender & Bender is a legitimate law firm in Dallas - However, I'd look up Bender & Bender's number on their web site just to be sure who you're talking to. They usually light fires under Social Security when they drag their feet on disability claims, but are also into other things like this medical class action suit when a drug company doesn't take responsibility for the damage its pills cause - Someone has to pay for treatment, and it shouldn't be the government or your regular insurance company. My brother-in-law used Bender & Bender successfully after his stroke, when Social Security drug their feet for over a year on his disability claim, hoping he'd die before they had to pay anything. Bender & Bender got it resolved in like 3 weeks because they knew which buttons to push.

Those ppl are low life collection scammers. these people Bluff & threaten ppl to collect money over the telephone.

Got Several Calls From This Number Claiming They Had Questions About a Check. Well i dont write Checks. And my home phone is for emergencies so i don't use it in transactions. I did not call them back

They are the Fraternal Order of Police. Calling day and night in order to make you feel as though it is your duty to contribute money to their softball games on Sunday, etc. There was a huge expose' on the apparent reality - that is that less than 20% of the money actually goes to the alleged 'good cause'. They tell you they will take you off, but I seriously doubt their truth telling ability, because good people don't do business like that. Oh well the world is full of liars and thiefs you should not expect anything different from your local police?

They texted me about free cigarattes. They claim their name is John and addressed me by name.

keep bothering me, and won't tell me his/her name.

Got call on my cell today from 50622324409. It was a recorded message, 'very important message from your credit card company, if you would like to lower your monthly finance charges to 6% press one if not press two.' I press 1 to see what company this was but no one came on the line.
