A recipient of unsolicited telephone calls has lodged a formal complaint about Unwanted Calls in California on 2020-07-08

1-852-988-98837. this looks just like a telephone ring with Hong Kong. 852 with eight other digits. noone ended up leaving a msg. Not sure exactly what this is for. we dont wanna ring back, which can be a int'l telephone call!

Husband got a call from this number last night telling him that I knew some guy named Patrick Lebleu and they had a summons out for him. That he needed to call 888-407-0693. They were trying to make it sound like I knew some guy my husband did not know (yeah thanks a--holes - good thing my husband and I have been married 16 years and trust each other). Then when we called the number they act all weird. They asked for the lady who used to have my phone number too and people who used to live at my address (so obviously they got all their info mixed up). I believe they are a bill collector and I intend to file a complaint with the district attorney's office. If anything further happens like this, I will be suing them for harassment because they were trying to intimidate my husband.
