A local number with a persons name. No idea who it is

spoof similar number

I got a text message from this phone number, saying: "-Need shopping ca$h? Get up to $1500 today. It's easy, at www.atmsafemutual.com (type #NO to end)" I thought about calling it back or typing #NO, but I'm too worried about foreign scams to "obey" these things. My work telephone system has a lot of security features, so maybe I'll try calling from there. Otherwise, I'm definitely ignoring it.
